Will The Animal wrestle this year at The Grandest Stage of Them All?

We are 4 months away from the biggest PPV event of the year, as there are rumors circulating around the wrestling world that The Animal Batista will be competing at WrestleMania 35.

However, there are many people that don't agree with the idea of him wrestling due to the fact that it may take opportunities away from other talents.

But nevertheless, Batista has made a name for himself in the WWE and there is no denying that he should compete at this year's WrestleMania event due to the fact that he has turned into such a humble individual in real life. Here are 5 reasons why Batista should be at WrestleMania 35.

On January 20th, 2014, The Animal had returned to the WWE as a babyface by confronting the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the time, Randy Orton as he had announced his intentions to win the Royal Rumble match to face Orton at WrestleMania XXX.

The fans clearly loved that Batista had returned to the WWE and it was a big moment for not just him but the WWE Universe as well, as he hadn't competed in a WWE ring since 2010. Despite the fact Batista did go onto win the 2014 Royal Rumble match, it was a moment that fell short because the fans had turned on him.

This was because they wanted Daniel Bryan to win the entire match itself, as he was the most popular superstar in the WWE at the time, but he didn't even compete in the Rumble match. The fans were clearly let down because of this, and Batista was the man who ended up being the unfortunate scapegoat for WWE's booking decisions.

Rumors on the internet had suggested that Batista was set to defeat Orton at WrestleMania 30 to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but instead, Daniel Bryan was inserted into the match to make it a Triple Threat Match.

Bryan then went onto become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but it's clear that Bryan should've won the Royal Rumble match from the get-go as this would've prevented the negative reactions towards The Animal.
