The 2019 Royal Rumble PPV is just 9 nights away which means we are just 9 days away from the 2nd women's Royal Rumble match in WWE history.

The first ever women's Royal Rumble match took place in 2018 which saw the Empress of Tomorrow emerge as the last woman standing. While one of the key reasons why Asuka won that match was that she had a long unbeaten streak in WWE back then and the Creative team did not want to snap it in a Royal Rumble match. However, that unbeaten streak came to an end at WrestleMania 34 when Charlotte Flair made the Japanese superstar tap out to the Figure 8 leg lock.

But, things have changed a lot in the WWE's female division and currently, Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey can be hailed as the MVPs of the division. While Ronda Rousey is the reigning RAW Women's Champion, Becky will be competing for the SD Live Women's title on the Royal Rumble PPV.

Despite the fact that she is in the title match, a lot of rumors suggest that Becky is the favorite to win the Royal Rumble match this year. So, here are the 5 reasons why the Irish Lasskicker should win the 30-woman Royal Rumble match:

#5 To market the SmackDown Women's Champion feud as the clash between the 2 Royal Rumble winners

This reason will have the least impact on this decision but still, the WWE can use this storyline as a WM 35 feud

In order to enter the Royal Rumble match, Becky Lynch needs to lose her SD Live Women's Championship match earlier on the show and in case that happens and Becky wins the Rumble match to challenge Asuka once again, the WWE can book a WrestleMania match between the only 2 female Royal Rumble winners in WWE history.

While this reason does not appeal too much on paper, the WWE Creative has the skills to market this title match as the grandest WWE match in women's wrestling history.
