5 reasons why Big E should turn on the New Day and join forces with Kevin Owens at Money in the BankĀ
Kofi Kingston overcame all the odds stacked against him to emerge as the new WWE Champion of Vince McMahon's wrestling promotion at WrestleMania 35. The fans were madly behind the New Day member and the creative team pushed him all out to please the fans.
However, a lot of members of the WWE Universe are now complaining that Kofi is not able to carry himself as a champion. Well, this problem is not new as a lot of babyfaces have been red hot while in pursuit of the title, but once they capture the championship, the audience backs out.
WWE's falling ratings are also a sign that the champion is not drawing the audience towards their shows. The Kevin Owens heel turn was also something that the fans saw coming from miles away.
Thus, in order to save SmackDown Live, WWE Creative needs to pull up their socks and add some shock value to the title feud. They can finally split up the New Day by having Big E turn on his brothers at Money in the Bank, joining forces with Kevin Owens.
Here are 5 reasons why Big E should turn heel.
#5 Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods surprised Big E by replacing him in the group
It is a known fact that Big E is currently injured, as he was brutally hurt during the six-man tag team match on the SmackDown episode after WrestleMania 35. It has been reported that Big E will be cleared to return at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
Thus, WWE could perfectly cash-in (pun intended) on Big E's return and have him betray his brothers for replacing him in the group. Kofi and Woods had included Big O in the New Day as Big E's replacement, and this would anger anyone, even a loyal friend. So, WWE can add this background to the storyline and finally end the New Day.
