5 Reasons Why Bobby Lashley won the Intercontinental Championship

Yesterday in our article 5 potential twists for RAW, we mentioned the possibility of Bobby Lashley becoming Intercontinental Champion. Turns out we got that spot on (and even Braun Strowman being removed from the Universal Championship match to some extent).
The match on RAW saw Dean Ambrose defend the Intercontinental Championship against Seth Rollins and The Almighty Bobby Lashley. Lashley wasn't even part of the Intercontinental title picture but forced his way in after attacking Seth Rollins and costing him in his Falls count anywhere match against Ambrose.
This week, Lashley put on an absolutely dominant display, and Rollins and Ambrose even had to team up to try and take out Lashley. Either way, The Almighty one prevailed, thanks to some help from Lio Rush.
Either way, Lashley has captured the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career and ended a very brief reign from Dean Ambrose. We explore five reasons why this title change happened in the first place.
#5 Dean Ambrose hasn't done a good job of late

Let's face it, Dean Ambrose hasn't had the best run since turning heel. Fans were all in the belief that an Ambrose heel turn was long overdue, especially since Seth Rollins picked up some steam as a babyface over the last year.
However, his heel turn, while shocking at first, fizzled down and his character wasn't really what fans wanted it to be. Instead of a darker, maniacal and sadistic side, we saw a man taking injections to his backside, constantly referring to himself as the "moral compass of WWE" and all that jazz.
His match with Rollins at TLC was a disappointment and it's possible that he took the blame for it. Either way, the powers that be decided that Lashley would better represent the IC title at this time.
