5 reasons why Braun Strowman should have faced Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam instead of Seth Rollins

It should have been Strowman

So there we have it. Seth Rollins is set to face Brock Lesnar once again and this time, it is going to be at SummerSlam. We are all back to square one in this regard as the biggest PPV of the summer is basically going to have a rematch from the Grandest Stage of Them All.

At Extreme Rules, Brock Lesnar cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to take the Universal Championship off Seth Rollins after the Beast Slayer defended it against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans.

As a result, many expected the duo to square off against each other at the biggest party of the summer. However, I hoped that it would be Braun Strowman, and when Paul Heyman announced that there would be a 10-man Battle Royal to decide the number one contender for the Universal Championship, my hopes became bigger.

In the end, however, Seth Rollins came out winner from the match and is now the number one contender for Lesnar’s title at SummerSlam. But it should have been Braun Strowman – and here are 5 reasons why…

#5 Enough of Rollins-Lesnar

We have seen enough of this
We have seen enough of this

Seth Rollins has been feuding with Brock Lesnar for most part of the year now. At the beginning of the year after winning the Royal Rumble, Seth Rollins decided to be a fighting champion and, as a result, chose to face Lesnar at WrestleMania.

Since then, the pair have been feuding back and forth, with Baron Corbin thrown in the mix for a while in between. We have already witnessed these two at WrestleMania and now, Rollins once again finds himself challenging for the Universal Title at SummerSlam.

Lesnar is almost certain to not lose to Rollins at two of WWE’s biggest PPVs (in a proper match), which means that the feud is likely to continue beyond the summer. Repetitive.
