Brock Lesnar vs Rey Mysterio - Survivor Series 2019

After Brock Lesnar beat Cain Velasquez at Crown Jewel, Rey Mysterio came to Velasquez’s aid by giving Lesnar a few chair shots to the back. This coerced The Beast into moving from SmackDown to Monday Night RAW so he could face Mysterio.

He brought the WWE Championship with him to the Red brand and now is going to face The Master of 619 at Survivor Series in a match where his title will be on the line. So far, WWE has done an incredible job of building this feud up.

This week on RAW, Mysterio attacked Lesnar when the latter was searching for him in the building. Fans are delighted about this upcoming match and it’ll be interesting to see who’s going to walk out victorious with the WWE Championship.

The rivalry seems to be long-term and we are sure that the Lesnar & Mysterio rivalry has a lot of surprises planned for the fans. However, one thing that may not surprise us is The Beast Incarnate retaining his title.

He’s a favorite to win this match, and here are 5 reasons why we think Mysterio shouldn't win the WWE Championship at Survivor Series.

#5 WWE could book another title match between Cain Velasquez and Brock Lesnar to determine the ultimate fighter

Years ago Cain Velasquez defeated The Beast for the UFC Heavyweight Championship. WWE used this as a storyline to reignite a rivalry between these two powerhouses in the company. Their match happened at Crown Jewel last month, and according to several reports, Paul Heyman wanted a lot of action in the match.

However, the reason why it ended underwhelmingly was that Velasquez’s injury was much worse than WWE had initially thought. This is why the bout ended fairly quickly and Brock Lesnar walked out victorious via submission.

Both Superstars now have a 1-1 record against each other and this could be a set-up for the rubber match between the duo, which will probably happen next year.
