5 Reasons why Brock Lesnar's Money in the Bank victory will come back to bite WWE in the future
Money in the Bank 2019 was one of the best editions of the PPV. With some solid matches, great spots, shocking returns, and segments, MITB was surely a memorable event.
Among the shockers which included Charlotte defeating Becky 2 Belts to become the 9-time Women's Champion, only for Bayley to cash-in on her to become the new Women's Champion, the biggest eye-popper of the night was the return of the Beast, Brock Lesnar.
Earlier in the night, Sami Zayn was found hanging upside down and WWE officials and Triple H thought that it was the Monster among Men Braun Strowman who did that to him. As a result of this attack, Sami was taken out of the MITB match later on in the night.
The men's MITB match started with just 7 competitors, and honestly, the match was so engaging and thrilling that most of us even forgot the fact that it was short of one superstar. But the ending of the match shocked us all as the Beast, Brock Lesnar made his way to the ring as the 8th participant and won the Money in the Bank ladder match, much to the disbelief of everyone.
The decision has not been taken nicely by the WWE Universe as fans are not happy with Vince again giving the spotlight to the beast over other more deserving superstars.
In this article, let's take a look at the 5 reasons why Brock's Money in the Bank victory will come back to bite WWE in the future.
#5 If he cashes in successfully
It was a refreshing moment for the fans at WrestleMania 35 to finally see Brock's reign as the Universal Champion come to an end at the hands of Seth Rollins. Brock as a champion has been so boring that fans even cheered Roman Reigns defeating him for the title at Summerslam last year.
With Lesnar being Mr. Money in the Bank, he is guaranteed a title shot whenever he wants. This brings us to the question of whether WWE will allow him to cash-in successfully and begin another dull reign as the World Champion.
Vince, please take a moment and imagine the heavy boos that will fill the arena and internet if Brock cashes in on either Rollins or Kofi Kingston to become the Champion again. That would be the last thing the fans want.
