5 Reasons why Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg would be a bad idea

The rumours about Goldberg’s WWE return gathered huge momentum recently. If we go by the rumours, Goldberg is going to come back and lock horns with Brock Lesnar. WWE has been foreshadowing the same ever since Goldberg showed up in the WWE 2K17 commercial. Dave Meltzer and Jim Ross added fuel to the rumours by weighing in their sources.

And now that both parties have started exchanging words, this seems like a match that could happen in the near future. While on paper, this match appeals to the casual fans and could draw big money for WWE, but there are a lot of problems associated with this booking. #5 Both wrestlers work only part-time

In a parallel universe, if Goldberg and Lesnar are going to put together a classic match, the build-up is something that WWE would struggle with. One of the major problems that WWE has faced with Lesnar is the number of appearances he makes.

Though he is a big draw, Lesnar is expensive. Having him week in and week out is not something WWE would be looking to do and probably the same applies for Goldberg as well.

With Lesnar missing out for most weeks and potentially Goldberg doing a similar deal, WWE would sweat to build up this feud properly and cater it to the weekly audience.
