5 Reasons WWE wants Brock Lesnar to defeat Braun Strowman at the Royal Rumble
Brock Lesnar versus Braun Strowman. Who wins?
While the answer to that question might have been easy to answer a month or so ago, it's becoming harder and harder thanks to a plethora of new information.
Unfortunately, for Braun Strowman, who was seemingly WWE's next top guy at one point, it's starting to look more and more like he will come up short yet again at The Royal Rumble.
Interestingly enough, WWE seems to also be regaining faith in Brock Lesnar as their top star, which is another reason it's looking like he will retain the title at WrestleMania 35.
Whether he actually does or not remains to be seen and will depend on what is discussed, but there are certain positives that go into Lesnar holding onto the title.
With that being said and The Royal Rumble pay-per-view only a few short weeks away, here are five reasons why WWE will have Brock Lesnar retain The Universal title at The Royal Rumble.
Of course, most of these reasons have to do with Braun Strowman and the rumours surrounding him, but there will be reasons that focus on Lesnar as well.
What are your thoughts? Do you think Braun Strowman will win The Universal Title from Brock Lesnar at The Royal Rumble or will WWE put all of their money on The Beast, Brock Lesnar, at WrestleMania 35? #5 Braun Strowman's injuries
Rumours have been circulating that Braun Strowman still isn't 100% ready to return to the ring and while it's believed that he will be ready by The Royal Rumble, his injuries are really starting to hold him back. Unfortunately for Strowman, this could mean that the company ends up giving up on him as their top guy.
Furthermore, one has to wonder if Strowman will be ready to go by the time The Royal Rumble comes around and how limited he will be if he is able to compete. With that being said and Strowman likely being limited in the upcoming title match, one has to wonder if WWE can even find a way for him to believably beat Lesnar for the title.
