5 Reasons why Hell in a Cell will be the best PPV of the year

Will Kevin Owens keep his Universal Heavyweight Title on Sunday?

There is still quite a debate going on as to whether or not there are too many main events at Hell in a Cell coming up on Sunday. I'm going to leave that debate to the experts.

As someone who has been waiting for decades for an event like this to come along, an event that could give fans a rare opportunity to see something new and refreshing, I can't help but be excited about things to come.

There has been so much talk over the past two weeks about Sasha banks and Charlotte locking themselves up in a steel cage and doing the unthinkable – proving that they are just as good if not better than any man who can compete inside the steel structure.

We’ve waited for so long for this "revolution" to really take shape, and now with the two greatest female wrestlers of this era set to battle, WWE has done itself a solid in building the ultimate storyline.

Hopefully, and I say this because there are times when a match like this limits a performer’s ability, the match will live up to the hype. If not, a grave disservice has been done to both of these champions.

There is so much to like about Hell in a Cell. There is a lot to be worried about as well. In the end, though, this should be one of the best, if not the best pay-per-view events of the year. As fans and WWE get ready to close out 2016 and look forward to Survivor Series and TLC, this show alone could set the stage for an exciting 2017.

Here are five reasons why Hell in a Cell will be the best pay-per-views of the year:

#1 Three main events

Roman Reigns and Rusev are just one of three Hell in a Cell matches

I'm almost giddy about the idea of three matches inside the steel structure. When does this ever happen? When will it happen again? While there is great debate over which match should close out the show, and great debate whether the women's world title should be part of this holy trinity, I think the chutzpah WWE is displaying is quite refreshing.

While the company has wanted to give fans something new and exciting, it has been met with mixed reviews. This is the opportunity to prove things are bigger and better. There is no doubt the United States Title match featuring the Roman Empire and Rusev will deliver.

There is little doubt fans will lose their minds over the idea of Charlotte and Sasha Banks inside the steel cage. My only hope is all three matches deliver.
