3 reasons why Nakamura's heel turn is a good thing

This year's WWE WrestleMania featured a few puzzlers and shockers, and a lot of things that were not predicted to happen at all did happen.

We saw Brock Lesnar defeating Roman Reigns even though Lesnar was rumoured to be leaving WWE after WrestleMania. We saw Charlotte end Asuka's almost 2-year undefeated streak. And we saw John Cena squashed in a quick match by a returning Undertaker. 

But perhaps the biggest shocker was Shinsuke Nakamura turning heel by low-blowing AJ Styles during his post-match victory celebration.

This was unexpected, and certainly a disappointment for a lot of Nakamura's hardcore fans, who expected a much longer epic match between the two, and a successful victory for Nakamura ending the conquest he began at the Royal Rumble. 

But Nakamura's heel turn may eventually prove to be a good thing. Let us see why.

There is a reason hadcore NXT fans are crazy about the King of Strong Style. Shinsuke Nakamura has delivered great matches time and again in NXT with the likes of Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe. But the same cannot be said about his main roster run.

Prior to winning the rumble, Nakamura had feuds with the likes of Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler, and then had a program with Jinder Mahal for the WWE championship, where he lost to the Modern-day Maharaja twice.
