5 reasons why Ronda Rousey might leave WWE after WrestleMania 35
"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey. When she made a splash to WWE in early 2018, nobody would have expected that she would make the impact that she did. Sure, people expected her to get pushed to the top in no time, and that's exactly what happened.
In fact, she picked up the in-ring aspect of it so fast that it led to comparisons to Kurt Angle and Charlotte Flair. While she may not have fully found her stride on the mic, her popularity and exciting in-ring style have been enough to capture the hearts of the audiences.
However, for a while now, Rousey's WWE status and contract tenure have been uncertain. From the look of things, WWE has been aware of it as well, and the rumours floating around state that Rousey will be finished up with WWE after WrestleMania 35.
This would definitely come as a shock, as fans expected her to stick around for a few years at least. However, there are quite a few good reasons for this if it happens, and we tell you why.
#5 To start a family
Rousey has been very open about her desire to start a family. At the age of 32, she's put her body through a lot in her years as an MMA fighter. Being a WWE superstar itself is very demanding, but she clearly has the physical and athletic attributes to succeed.
However, it's understandable for her to want to start a family as soon as possible, and WWE is most definitely well aware of this too. Reports from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet state that WWE has been aware of Rousey's desire to begin a family, and this plays a big part of her contract as well.
This would mean that she'd be taking a hiatus for quite a while and have to walk away from WWE.
