5 Reasons why Ronda Rousey possibly vacated the Raw Women's Title on Raw
Let's be honest here.
Ronda Rousey walking out on WWE after Stephanie McMahon refused to reinstate Becky Lynch was a brilliant move on the company's part. In fact, it amplified the first ever all women's main event at WrestleMania 35 in a way that nothing else could and blurred the line between reality and fiction in a very interesting way.
Beyond all that, it was the perfect way to further the storyline after the company seemingly let the angle go cold a week ago. Of course, WWE did some segments involving the two stars to keep the feud in people's mind, but it was the encounter seen on Monday Night Raw that really set this thing on fire!
With that being said and WWE really digging deep to make this storyline the main focus on the road to WrestleMania 35, here are five reasons why Ronda Rousey dropped the belt at Stephanie McMahon's feet and walked out on the company. As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below and tell us what you think will happen next.
#5. Makes Ronda Rousey a babyface
Ronda Rousey hasn't had the easiest road to WrestleMania 35, but WWE just made things a lot better by having her walk out on the company. In fact, between the move fitting in perfectly with her mentality and making her a martyr in the women's division, the company might have found the best way to keep fans behind her going forward.
In all honesty, it was probably either this or have her turn her heel and the company definitely made the better decision here. In the end, Rousey was floundering as a babyface and still is to some point, but having her martyr herself for the well being of the women's division, will definitely endear her to fans even more.
