5 reasons why Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar is the perfect Wrestlemania 35 main event
The Universal Title has to be one of the worst booked titles in WWE history, as ever since the title's inception in 2016, injuries, lazy narratives, and a constant absence of it on Raw has ruined the title for many fans. After the title has been freed from the grip of Brock Lesnar at Summerslam 2018, it was sadly vacated by Roman Reigns, and it somehow found its way back to "the Beast."
But now that WWE was forced to reboot their entire product due to terrible ratings and low viewership numbers, it seems like many things in WWE could get a do-over, and the Universal Title is one of those things. Moreover, rumours have been going around that Seth Rollins will be the man to take on Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania for the title, and this a perfect main event for many reasons, so let's take a look at a few.
#1 An exhilarating main event
Brock Lesnar's return to WWE in 2012 garnered one of the biggest crowd reactions of all time, as the atmosphere was electric when the fans witnessed a legitimate fighter in Lesnar bring back credibility to the product.
But this was not the Lesnar they knew from 2003, as his entire style changed from a devasting powerhouse to a more limited lethal ass-kicker, and that was fine for the most part.
But Lesnar's opponents couldn't get much out of him with his new found style, that is why his matches with Braun Strowman, Dean Ambrose and even Roman Reigns were uninspiring snoozefests. But there were a select amount of stars that actually brought the best out in Brock, and those were AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, and CM Punk.
Another star that is akin to those stars is Seth Rollins. Rollins was stealing the show with many superstars on the roster last year, and that has truly proved Rollins to be a reliable in-ring worker.
Thus, this chemistry between Lesnar and talented in-ring stars could be the link to his potential match with Rollins becoming one of the all-time great Wrestlemania main events.
