One of the biggest matches on RAW this week allowed the women of WWE to shine at a time when the top male champion was missing from the mix.

All four women involved in the match, namely Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Kairi Sane, and Asuka, competed in separate matches the night before at Hell in a Cell and endured a great amount of punishment. Although that was the case, it did not stop them from giving the best performance of the night, which elevated the entire women’s roster to new heights.

After a great tag team match between the four women, we saw the new Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors emerge victorious and make a huge statement to the entire WWE Universe.

The win was a significant achievement for the newly crowned Women's Tag Team Champions, as they defeated WWE's top two female singles competitors.

In this article, we will look at the 5 reasons why The Kabuki Warriors defeated Lynch and Flair on RAW this week.

On Sunday Night, The Kabuki Warriors had their biggest match ever, as they competed at Hell in a Cell against then WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. While Bliss and Cross have played less distinguishable characters for much of their championship reign, Asuka and Sane were the clear babyfaces and the crowd supported them throughout the bout.

The duo managed to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships from Bliss and Cross at Hell in a Cell, picking up their biggest victory to date. However, the victory was marked by controversy, as Asuka used the green mist to her benefit and pinned Nikki Cross in the process. Asuka showed that she is willing to use heelish tactics in order to secure a big victory.

While the move signaled toward a full heel turn for the Japanese tag team, it could have also meant that the two just used it out of desperation to score the titles from Bliss and Cross. RAW cleared any doubts, confirming a full on change in character for both women.

Asuka once again used the green mist on Becky Lynch Monday night, which allowed Sane to roll the RAW Women's Champion up for the victory. The act confirmed that The Kabuki Warriors have turned full heel.
