5 reasons why Triple H vs Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 34 shouldn’t happen

Is it time for Kurt to play the game?

With WrestleMania 34 being just a few months away, fans around the world have been busy fantasy booking their dream matches for the big show in New Orleans. Some are realistic and some are a bit ‘out there’, but one that stands out as being a particularly unusual option is the heavily rumoured Triple H vs Kurt Angle showdown.

These two icons of the WWE Attitude Era have been going at it on and off for the better part of 17 years now, and in a lot of ways, it’d be intriguing to see such a nostalgic bout take place in the present day. Unfortunately, nostalgia can only take you so far, and because of that, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to list the primary reasons behind why this is an extremely bad idea.

You may love this match-up or you may hate it, but either way, you can’t deny the truth.

Both Triple H and Kurt Angle are undoubtedly massive names in this business, and as such, their presence at an event like WrestleMania could do wonders for the success of the show. Unfortunately, if this match winds up happening, it’d be a huge waste of potential given how many other bouts they could both be involved in individually.

The Game has ongoing storylines with half of the roster including the likes of Kevin Owens and Braun Strowman, meanwhile Angle against virtually any top name wrestler should be considered a dream match. The obvious option for him would be Daniel Bryan but if that isn’t a possibility, then perhaps a one on one wrestling clinic against his ‘son’ Jason Jordan would suffice.
