This week's episode of RAW saw some big developments in the WWE Universe. Not only is The Shield back together but they're all set to face Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley at WWE Fastlane. Another huge match WWE booked for Fastlane was for the vacant RAW Women's Championship, Becky Lynch will now face Charlotte. However, Stephanie McMahon would alter the match later on after she gave the title back to Rousey.
If Lynch defeats Flair at Fastlane, she gets added to the triple threat match at WrestleMania. It's as simple as that.
Fastlane is the last PPV before WrestleMania 35 and this could be one of the most consequential Fastlane PPV's ever. What happens at Fastlane could have big consequences for the WrestleMania card including for Mania plans for the RAW Women's Championship.

However, the match most WWE fans wanted to see was Becky Lynch taking on Ronda Rousey in a singles match.
One reason why WWE may have booked Becky vs Charlotte fo Fastlane is to add Becky Lynch to the title match at WrestleMania. I mean it's obvious, WWE said it themselves. If Becky Lynch wins the match she gets added to WrestleMania and its a triple threat for the RAW Women's Championship.
