MVP was a highly decorated wrestler WWE ever got to see. MVP had the agility, skills and in-ring techniques and could build outstanding promos. He was two times the United States Champion. During his first tenure as the US champion, he held the title for 343 days, which was at that time the longest reign of the WWE era. He also held the WWE Tag Team Championship with Matt Hardy.

Despite projecting him as the next big star, WWE failed to give him his due. MVP certainly deserved better and he could have been an excellent world Champion. Letting go MVP was not the best of moves on the part of WWE as they could never find an all-rounder superstar as his replacement. Here are five reasons why WWE should consider bringing him back, which will benefit mutually both WWE and MVP.

The good news is that MVP has announced via Twitter that he will be returning to the company. He was also a part of the 25th anniversary of RAW.

MVP and the US Championship are almost synonymous. MVP won the US Championship at the pay-per-view Backlash in 2007. MVP was one of the finest US champions in the history of the company who held the title for a combined number of 419 days. Despite becoming the US champion for just two times, he is fifth on the list in terms of the number of days for combined reigns.

He defended his title against some of the greatest wrestlers in WWE like Ric Flair, Matt Hardy, Kane and others. Either by fair play or by unfair means, he could use any tactics to hold on to his title.

Post MVP, no other US champion could create the aura with the title like him. WWE should bring MVP back and a match between him and the current champion Bobby Roode for the US champion would be 'Glorious'. MVP will go down in WWE history as the most outspoken, blandish and the controversial US Champion. He can form outstanding plots and feuds with the US title. This will gather more crowd reactions and interests towards the US title.
