WWE has been the monopoly when it comes to professional wrestling ever since the demise of WCW. Even though promotions like Impact, ROH & NJPW tried to be the next alternative, they couldn't live up to the largest wrestling promotion in the world.

The company's history and worldwide fame made it impossible for the rival promotions to stand up to Vince McMahon's empire. But it doesn't mean they are invincible.

WCW was the only major wrestling promotion that gave headaches to Vince McMahon. But we all know who had the last laugh in the Monday Night Wars. Now AEW is looking to do the same by attempting to be the next big thing. Their first outing with Double or Nothing proved to be very successful.

AEW sold out all the tickets for their next PPV All Out in less than fifteen minutes, which is a huge achievement for a new wrestling promotion.

The reports of numerous WWE superstars contacting AEW are taking the internet by storm. With Jon Moxley making a successful debut with AEW, a lot of WWE superstars are looking to replicate Moxley’s success.

But jumping ship to AEW so soon might not be a wise career decision for those superstars. Continue reading to know why.

If we ask all the WWE superstars why they are looking to go to AEW, the most common reason would probably be them not being satisfied with their creative direction.

Let’s look at it this way: pro wrestlers from all over the world will look to make a name for themselves by joining AEW. They'll have a packed roster in no time, and it will put them in WWE's boots.

WWE has a lot of talented performers on their roster, and everyone would like to be in the main event or the title pictures. But WWE can afford to have only a few in those spots.

That is the reason they have multiple brands to find a place for all of their talents. AEW will soon find themselves in this situation. With them being a start-up, the WWE superstars looking to make the jump might be in the same position they are in the WWE.
