5 Reasons WWE should be scared of All Elite Wrestling

AEW is serious competition
AEW is serious competition

WWE is the biggest wrestling company in the world but a new competitor has recently come about, that being All Elite Wrestling.

WWE may not take them seriously even though they sold out the MGM Grand, got a TV deal with ITV and TNT, and signed some of WWE's top stars. WWE may brush it off on Raw with Sami Zayn, but these are 5 reasons they need to take AEW seriously.

#5 Chants

The Fans
The Fans

On raw after Sami Zayn mentioned AEW there were clear chants off AEW and there were even some more earlier in the show during the Shane McMahon match with Lance Anoa'i.

Now as much as WWE does have many fans who love the product, at double or nothing there were no chants of WWE or anything to do with it. In fact, the only negative chants were at the end of the Joshi tag match and that was only due to the timekeeper messing up.

If more fans start chanting about AEW, more people who don't know what it is might find out and that is not a good thing for WWE. They should also not have Sami Zayn say AEW on live TV. That was a bad idea.

#4 Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho

Two Big Stars
Two Big Stars

As much as people, including me, love Kenny Omega, the Young Bucks, Cody and the rest of the AEW roster they are all fairly unknown to the mainstream. The same can't be said for Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho.

Anyone who has watched WWE in the last 6 years or so would have seen Moxley as a part of the Shield and even WWE champion at one point. If someone has seen any of WWE since 1999 they would have seen Chris Jericho. Multi-time world champion, WrestleMania main eventer and he has done many other things in his storied career.

Having these two as a part of their roster will no doubt help AEW significantly in the near future. Jericho does, in fact, deserve a thank you.
