Over the course of the past several decades, professional wrestling has marvelled fans across the globe with complex storylines, larger than life Superstars, and iconic events such as WrestleMania. WWE has been at the forefront of this industry, and has been producing content for the fan base since the early '50s!
After going through several eras, most notably the notorious Attitude Era of the late '90s, WWE has accumulated years of rich wrestling history, that can be accessed by fans on the WWE Network. Tons of legendary storylines have been created throughout the years, that left the fans in utter awe and shock. Then there are times when a storyline or an idea seems incredibly ridiculous at the beginning, but ends up wowing the fans like nothing else, silencing the critics once and for all.

#5 R-Truth's confused persona
R-Truth didn't do much in his initial WWE run in the early 2000s, and came back to the company years later after an amazing stint in TNA. This time too, Truth turned into a jobber, with nothing going on for him on the main roster.
Soon, Truth began showing off a weird side of himself. The segments that followed saw Truth acting like someone who seriously needed some psychiatric help. Somehow, this persona became such a huge hit among the fans, R-Truth still dons it to an extent.
A string of hilarious segments came out of this idea. R-Truth talking to an invisible kid named "Little Jimmy", Truth cutting a promo on possibly winning the Money In The Bank match even though he wasn't in the match, and him confusing the Royal Rumble match for a Ladder match, are just a few gems that show how Truth turned an absurd gimmick into an intriguing one.
