5 roles for Hulk Hogan when he returns to WWE
Love him or hate him, it is impossible to deny that Hulk Hogan is perhaps the most important Superstar in the history of sports entertainment. When he slammed Andre the Giant on the mat, he made sports entertainment a phenomenon that captured hearts and minds worldwide.
Of course, while he was seen as a deity by some, he was, in essence, a human being. Hulk Hogan faltered as mortals do, making racist comments in a private video that was leaked online. He was thereafter erased from the history of the company.
It's now come to light, that three years later, Hulk Hogan and WWE are in conversation yet again. If Hulk Hogan were to return for another run, what would his role possibly be?
We explore five options, in this special feature.
#5 Ronda Rousey's manager
Ronda Rousey is perhaps the biggest Superstar signed to WWE at this point in time. However, one department that she's lacking it concerns her promo skills. As good as she was in the octagon, she's not nearly as competent in cutting compelling sports entertainment promos. Ronda Rousey needs a mouthpiece, fast!
Enter Hulk Hogan. One thing even his critics cannot accuse him of is being incompetent on the microphone. If anything, Hulk Hogan is perhaps the greatest performer ever to have cut a promo in WWE history, in the same league as Stone Cold Steve Austin and CM Punk.
Rousey and Hogan may make an odd pairing at first, but considering that Rousey is a fan of the Golden Era of WWE, we can't see her being opposed to the idea.
Paul Heyman may seem like the ideal candidate to be Ronda Rousey's manager, but Hulk Hogan may also make for an interesting option.
