The Bloodline showed up to kick off the December 20 edition of SmackDown, and Drew McIntyre was present to confront the heelish faction.

The two sides got into a war of words, and Solo Sikoa’s group showed some aggression. This prompted The Scottish Warrior to escape the ring to avoid a beatdown and leave the arena through the crowd.

McIntyre blames Sikoa for costing him the world title match against Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle 2022. He will likely get to the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief soon in his quest to take down every single member of the original Bloodline.

#4. The Bloodline vs. LA Knight, Apollo Crews & Andrade likely ended in a no-contest

Last week’s SmackDown saw LA Knight come close to defeating Solo Sikoa before Jacob Fatu struck to cause a disqualification.

The upcoming show saw Apollo Crews and Andrade join Knight in facing Sikoa’s Bloodline. The two sides had a decent contest, but it was unclear whether either side won.

The match likely ended in a no contest, following which Jacob Fatu attacked LA Knight. It led to a big brawl that lasted till the end of the segment. (The result of this WWE match is still unclear).

#3. Carmelo Hayes got a rematch against Braun Strowman that ended differently

Carmelo Hayes was left red-faced as a returning Braun Strowman made quick work of him last week. Dressed as Santa Claus, Strowman appeared on The Grayson Waller Effect for the December 20 episode.

A rematch between Melo and Strowman picked up from thereon. Carmelo Hayes took home the victory this time as he ended up winning the contest with some good moves.

WWE seems to have a long-term rivalry planned between the two stars. It could help elevate Melo to the next level.

#2. #DIY debuted their new entrance music and Johnny Gargano was successful on WWE SmackDown

Johnny Gargano turned heel with Tommaso Ciampa to take down Motor City Machine Guns and take their WWE Tag Team Championship not long ago.

DIY came out with new entrance music and renewed heel attitude to kick start their run as the champions. Gargano faced Alex Shelley of MCMG in a singles match.

The Rebel Heart picked up the win over his former friend to make a statement. It was good to see what he can do as a heel right away on WWE SmackDown.

Jade Cargill was attacked backstage before Survivor Series: WarGames and the name of the attacker is still unknown. Bianca Belair finally defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Naomi as her new partner.

The duo took on Nia Jax and Candice LeRae in a tag team title defense. While the heels had the upper hand early in the contest, Naomi and The EST came out with the win.

It’ll be interesting to see how Bianca Belair and Naomi fair as a team, and if one of the two will later be revealed to be Jade Cargill’s attacker.
