5 Superstars that could benefit from leaving WWE
The hallowed halls of the WWE are often a highly sought after destination for the men and women who choose to embark on a career in the squared circle. And for those wishing to make their mark in Vince McMahon's sports entertainment conglomerate, the odds are not in their favour.
Very few will ever step foot inside of a WWE ring, and of the ones that are lucky enough to do so, even fewer will enjoy a career the likes of John Cena or "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.
For those exceptionally gifted athletes that do land a spot in the WWE, a select few will never get the chance to ascend to superstardom, even though they possess all the necessary tools.
Sadly, they're often content to hang around the middle-to-bottom of the roster while creative figures out what to do with them next, figuring it to be a much better option than being future endeavoured.
But for some, bucking the trend and walking away from a guaranteed contract is just what was needed to enjoy the type of career they'd always envisioned. Cody Rhodes realized a trip through the indies would be more fulfilling than portraying a pseudo-Goldust type with Stardust. Sami Callihan did the same, and he couldn't be happier.
Here's a list of 5 Superstars who could potentially do better by handing in their two weeks notice to the WWE.
#1 Cesaro
He can insult you in five different languages. His feats of strength while inside the ring are nothing short of mesmerizing. And he's no stranger to gold, with a championship resume that many pro wrestlers can only dream of.
So why is it that the Swiss Superman often finds himself as an afterthought? A performer deserving of so much more than he's received, Cesaro could learn a thing or two from Cody Rhodes and reap greater rewards back in ROH, a promotion where he's already enjoyed so much success.
