5 Superstars the WWE Universe should give up on in 2018
Is your favourite superstar worth rooting for?
That might sound like a ridiculous question to ask wrestling fans, especially since fans are going to ultimately root for who they choose to. The WWE Universe should probably make an informed decision before screaming for a particular Superstar and rushing to buy their merchandise.
Again, root for who you want! Just realise what you are getting yourself into when you're doing so. While there is honestly nothing better than rooting for your favourite Superstar as he or she mixes it up in the ring, only some of those Superstars have a chance of reaching the upper rungs of WWE.
Of course, this isn't a perfect list and these are only suggestions based on what has been seen, rumoured or hinted at, but it does give fans a chance to survey the situation and make informed choices. With that being said, here are five superstars not worth rooting for during the 2018 calendar year.
#5 Dean Ambrose
It's no secret that Dean Ambrose is probably the least successful of the three Shield members and while he has had a run with the WWE title and some memorable feuds with other talents along the way, he hasn't taken off like his Shield brethren has in the same amount of time.
With that being said, it should be noted that the one time The Shield lost since their reunion, it was Dean Ambrose who took the deciding pin from The Bar to lose The Tag team titles on Raw. Of course, that was due to a distraction from The New Day during the Survivor Series storyline, but they absolutely did it in a way that made Ambrose look weak in defeat.
In the end, being out with an injury during The Shield's big reunion is probably not going to help WWE want to take a chance on him for bigger and better things and he will most likely be put back in the mid-card when he does finally return from injury in a couple of months.
