WWE's first PPV, and one of the big four PPVs in WWE's calendar, Royal Rumble, will come to us from the Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona on January 27, 2019.

Braun Strowman will get a shot at Brock Lesnar's Universal championship, but the most eagerly awaited match is the 30-man Royal Rumble match, where the winner of the battle royal will get a chance to face either the Universal Champion or WWE Champion at WrestleMania 35.

A strong performance in the battle royal can really propel a Superstar's push, as well as popularity in the WWE. But there are certain Superstars that should not win the battle royal either because it won't help them or it isn't the right time in their career.

Here, let us take a look at 5 Superstars who should not win the men's battle royal at the 2019 Royal Rumble.

#5 Seth Rollins

Let me set things straight right at the start: Seth Rollins deserves a Royal Rumble victory, and was perhaps the Superstar of the year in 2018, but there are bigger and better storylines that await him in 2019, which do not hinge on a Royal Rumble victory.

Firstly, I am assuming that Braun Strowman is the Universal Champion at WrestleMania 35, and I think WWE will not pit two faces - Strowman and Rollins - on their biggest night of the year.

Rollins should, instead, feud with one of the new call-ups to the main roster - be it EC3, Lars Sullivan, or the blockbuster signing of Kenny Omega, which seems likely by every passing day.

Omega vs Rollins would be a masterpiece in the ring, as well as great in the build-up to the match, and we could maybe have a WrestleMania match between the two.
