5 Superstars WWE should bring back for the Women's Royal Rumble

In just a few weeks, the WWE will host their second ever all-female Royal Rumble.

A follow-up from last year's Rumble, the match will give 30 women a chance to prove themselves, as well as earn a shot at either the RAW or SmackDown Women's Championship.

Last year's winner Asuka won't be competing, due to her already being a champion, meaning we are guaranteed a new winner in 2019.

But with the women's roster lacking in numbers compared to the men's roster, there won't be enough women from the main roster to cover the entire match, and whilst some may appear from NXT, even that may still not be enough.

Fortunately for WWE, they have plenty of past Superstars itching to make a comeback for the match later this month. Here are five Superstars WWE should bring back for the Women's Royal Rumble.

#5 Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn's time with the WWE may have been relatively brief, but she certainly packed plenty into her years with the company.

Appearing on season 3 of the original NXT, Kaitlyn won the entire contest, earning herself a contract, and later capturing the Diva's Championship on RAW's 20th anniversary in 2013.

Losing the title months later, Kaitlyn left the company in January 2014. She later returned to compete in the 2018 Mae Young Classic, where she was eliminated in the second round by Mia Yim.

Impressing in her return, it's not too far-fetched to believe Kaitlyn has been approached about returning at the Rumble. If so, the fitness model and entrepreneur would be a great fit, and would certainly give a boost of nostalgia to fans who watched years ago.
