Over the course of these past four decades, Vince McMahon has shed his blood, sweat, and tears to turn WWE from just another wrestling promotion among a bunch of them to a globally recognized brand that boasts a billion followers on social media.

Since a long while now, fans, as well as wrestling personalities, have commented on how Vince McMahon has lost his touch on the product. Many people claim that things will change for the better once Triple H takes over the helm. #5 Rob Van Dam

RVD

After ECW folded in 2001, it was bought off by Vince McMahon. One of the biggest acquisitions from the promotion was Rob Van Dam, who arrived in WWE on July 9th, 2001. Van Dam was apparently set for a push in late 2002 and was going to win the World Heavyweight Title, but Triple H reportedly talked Vince McMahon out of going ahead with the plan.

The first Elimination Chamber match at Survivor Series saw RVD accidentally injure The Game during a spot, which didn't help his standing with Triple H. With age catching up with RVD, and Triple H's hostility towards him, one wonders whether we'll ever see RVD inside a WWE ring again.
