5 Surprises that could make Wrestlemania a grand success
WrestleMania is the biggest event in professional wrestling. Period.
But unlike its recent history, not many in the WWE Universe are getting their anticipation levels scorched up despite it being the thirtieth anniversary edition.
Bad booking and some horrific decisions from the WWE creative is to blame for the same and the company is starting to feel the pressure as the due date comes closer. With not much to show in terms of storyline, the only thing they could hope for is to make some surprises work out so that they don’t look like children playing with Legos with no idea whatsoever.
With a lot of potential lurking around the rich roster, all they have to do know is to pick the right one and place it in the right slot. So let’s take a look at the top five surprises that could make WrestleMania a grand success.
End the Streak
Well this isn’t one that’s likely to happen but if it does, it’s going to make this WrestleMania top the charts for a long long time.
Taker’s streak has been the marquee attraction of WrestleMania for more than two decades now and the fans would just be eating out their hearts seeing such a historic moment unfold right before their eyes.
The fact that no one expects Lesnar to break the streak adds to the surprise element making it arguably the biggest talking point in PG Era. It’s a risk worth taking on a short term basis; however, after this happens the company will be left without anything spectacular for the years to come.
But if the company has confidence in their creative team, (which I clearly doubt) this would be the easiest way to make this year’s WrestleMania a grand success.
