There's an old saying that Vince McMahon lives by: Nothing can go wrong when it's live.

And whilst McMahon may see going live as an incentive for Superstars to think on the fly if something goes wrong, sometimes, things get taken too far. Sometimes, a Superstar will get lost in the excitement of the moment, and go off script, and do something the company regrets.

Though sometimes, it will be a planned choice from WWE that gets cut, as when they see it executed, they realize that it wasn't suitable. Here are five shocking moments in WWE history, that the company decided to cut from their broadcast, and all other future releases.

#5: William Regal

William Regal in 2019, is easily regarded as one of the most respected stars in all of WWE history.

Although he may have never a World championship, Regal held the Tag Team, Intercontinental, and European Championships in WWE, and was one of the most competent hands in the business.

But for years, Regal's career was often used for humor, something that the British brawler was fine with, as he had grown up with classic Slapstick comedy and British pantomime.

At No Mercy 2006 though, Regal definitely proved his versatile acting chops, as he was filmed backstage wearing nothing but a towel over his waist.

During the segment, Regal's towel fell, exposing the British star, who promptly ran from the camera.

In subsequent releases of the event though, the segment has been cut out, as the WWE find it inappropriate to show Regal's manhood as a part of their PG programming.
