It was another tepid episode of Smackdown with the only major story really catching fire being between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens.

Here are the five biggest stories from Smackdown Live this week and how they impact the WWE Universe.

Leave your comments below I would love to hear your thoughts on this week's show.

#1 Jinder Mahal and Shinsuke Nakamura are struggling to carry the WWE title feud

One of the problems that the WWE is facing with Smackdown at the moment is that the fan base is just not taking to its champions. Unfortunately, both the Smackdown TV ratings and attendances to shows have dramatically dropped since Jinder won the championship.

Having two wrestlers competing against each other, incapable of cutting effective promos is hurting their ability to really build interest in the story, Whilst Nakamura has natural charisma and fan favouritism the feud has been very dull.

We can only hope that the WWE decide to bury the Jinder era and allow "The Artist" to reign supreme at Hell in the Cell.
