5 teams that could be split in WWE Draft 2024 - Rulers of RAW, A Growing force & more

While roster movement between RAW and SmackDown is the usual practice in every WWE Draft, the potential for big changes within current groups also exists.

One huge possibility in every Draft is the potential for tag teams and factions to be split. It happened to The New Day in 2021 when Big E was selected by RAW. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were picked by SmackDown.

With more teams than ever on RAW and SmackDown, the potential for a team split is even higher this year. The next five acts could be split in some fashion during the 2024 WWE Draft.

#5. The Street Profits and Bobby Lashley

Big things seemed to be in store once Bobby Lashley aligned with The Street Profits. They began as the usual smiling babyfaces but then briefly turned heel. The trio turned back to faces, completing a series of turns that would make The Miz or Natalya blush.

Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford have a shot at the new WWE Tag Team Champions. With Grayson Waller and Austin Theory just winning the belts, however, a title swap would be a mistake.

Since nothing has come from the partnership between all three stars, breaking them up in the 2024 WWE Draft could be a possibility.

#4. Imperium needs a big change

Imperium has been in a strange spot over the last few months. Gunther has made sporadic appearances due to the birth of his first child. He also had a featured match with Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40.

That has left Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser to fend for themselves. The duo has won and lost some matches, but their losses seemed to anger The Ring General when all three were present.

WWE has created many factions over the last two years, but Imperium hasn't been as dominant as it should be. That could change in the WWE Draft with either a split with Gunther or an addition to the group.

#3. The Final Testament's impact on the WWE Draft

Unlike Bobby Lashley's group, the mission statement for The Final Testament has been clear since its inception - chaos.

Karrion Kross has addressed this in many promos, referencing how Shinsuke Nakamura, The Bloodline, Drew McIntyre, and others have all changed after encountering him and his group. He also referenced how things will change with the upcoming WWE Draft.

With the need for some other dominant groups to emerge on RAW and SmackDown, The Final Testament must remain together. That still doesn't mean that the faction could be disbanded for some reason during the WWE Draft.

#2. Damage CTRL needs a big win

While Asuka and Kairi Sane currently hold the Women's Tag Team titles, their run is probably in its final stages. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill have stated their intentions to be tag team champs, meaning that it's only a matter of time.

Belair has battled Damage CTRL since the group formed two years ago. A change would be nice, but she's currently without a title. WWE will try to rectify that with her winning tag team gold.

That will mean that despite how Damage CTRL is considered a threat due to numbers, not having any gold may spell the end of the group. IYO SKY is still the crown jewel of the faction so she could be drafted separately from the rest of the group.

#1. The Judgment Day has ruled over RAW

The main group that could be rocked by the 2024 WWE Draft is The Judgment Day. The faction already lost its de facto leader, Rhea Ripley, to injury on last week's RAW.

Damian Priest is the new World Heavyweight Champion and will be one of the top picks. Does that mean the rest of the group will be a part of his selection? It's a good possibility that a split is in store for The Judgment Day.

Dominik Mysterio could also be drafted separately or with Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. Balor could also be on his own after losing tag team gold.

The 2024 WWE Draft began on April 26 on SmackDown and will continue on the April 29 edition of RAW. It will be interesting to see which teams will end up getting separated.
