5 things AJ Styles is yet to accomplish in WWE

AJ Styles still has a lot to achieve in his WWE career

Very few WWE Superstars have achieved as much as AJ Styles has during his first two years with the company.

“The Phenomenal One” has been involved in more show-stealing matches than anybody in that time, while it took him just eight months after his debut to win the WWE Championship.

He has since become a two-time WWE champion, featuring at two WrestleMania events along the way, and he has also had two reigns with the United States title.

In this article, discounting Royal Rumble and Money In The Bank victories (they’re obvious!), we take a look at five things that he is yet to accomplish in WWE.

If WrestleMania main events were booked on in-ring ability alone, then AJ Styles would currently be on course for his third successive headline match on “The Grandest Stage of Them All”.

Sadly, however, matches are not decided on in-ring skills and Styles is yet to feature at the top of the card in either of his two WrestleMania appearances so far (against Chris Jericho in 2016 and Shane McMahon in 2017).

Barring a miracle, “The Phenomenal One” will defend the WWE Championship against Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura in one of the most anticipated matches at WrestleMania 34.

Once again, the match is not expected to go on last, but if Styles continues to steal the show over the next 2-3 years, then it’ll surely only be a matter of time before he is deemed worthy of headlining WWE’s biggest show of the year.
