5 Things that may happen during The New Day's 10-year celebration on WWE RAW

Will Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods be able to keep it together on WWE RAW during their 10-year celebration? If the last few weeks have been any indication, fans may be witnessing the end of one of the greatest factions in wrestling history.

Big E will likely appear because he is a consistent presence on pre-show and post-show PLE panels. He was part of the coverage before and after Survivor Series: WarGames.

Due to the trio's importance to WWE, the celebration should hold the main event spot on RAW. If it does, expect fireworks. The next five things could go down during the New Day's 10-year celebration on RAW.

#5. Both could be attacked by a rival or debuting star

One good way that bookers could use the celebration segment would be to introduce a new team or superstar. Kofi and Xavier are institutions in WWE and are loved by the fans.

They've been fighting lately, but most successful rock bands have argued over the years. How they respond ultimately defines whether they'll continue to make history or end the partnership.

Kingston and Woods could argue with each other but could be forced to regroup if a debuting tandem crashed the ceremony. If The Wyatt Sicks wasn't dealing with the Final Testament, it'd be the perfect group for the job.

The Judgment Day could crash the segment. Even having Brock Lesnar or Drew McIntyre return to upend both men would work since Woods name-dropped Lesnar last week. Oba Femi could also make his main-roster debut.

#4. They could amicably part ways on RAW

Friends and brothers fight from time to time. After 10 years, many emotions and feelings came out on last week's RAW. Telling the truth to someone's face is often hard, but it sometimes needs to happen.

If they disagree with each other and feel like the journey has already reached its destination, Woods and Kingston could agree to go their separate ways.

It would allow things to end on good terms and leave the door open for a possible reunion in the future if needed. The Bloodline drama is a good template for a future reunion. Going solo would also allow each man to pursue singles gold.

#3. Big E could make an impact

There can't be a 10-year celebration of The New Day without Big E. He should be present for the segment since he has been doing analyst work for WWE Premium Live Events.

The former WWE Champion has missed nearly three years due to a neck injury. He could try to reason with both of his friends to get on the same page.

If it doesn't happen, he could either attack both Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston or side with one over the other. Big E could also align with a newer star like Femi to prove he doesn't need The New Day.

#2. Kofi Kingston could turn on Xavier Woods

The entire narrative between The New Day has been Woods becoming disillusioned with the status quo. He's unhappy that the team cannot pick up big wins, especially against lesser competition like Alpha Academy.

The real feelings boiled over already during last week's outburst on RAW. With Woods getting booed despite bringing up some decent points, it would be a great shock if Kingston instead turned heel.

He's been a face for a decade and would be refreshed with a change. It would also provide a huge surprise since none emerged at Survivor Series: WarGames. Woods turning is too predictable.

#1. Big E could get them to reconcile after an emotional outburst

One thing is certain - both Kingston and Woods will get a lot off their chests during the 10-year celebration on RAW. Both men started the fire on last week's RAW, bringing up some stinging truths from each man's career.

Big E is the wildcard in the situation. He could ultimately get his friends to reconcile after both unload years of emotional baggage. One huge factor could be Big E's medical status.

If he shocks the world by announcing he's medically cleared, it could cause the group to reconcile. Then again, if he makes the announcement, a heel turn with either man attacking Big E after his huge declaration would be extremely effective.
