The RAW after Extreme Rules saw Seth Rollins winning a 10-man Battle Royal to become the number one contender for the WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

It was only a night before that that Rollins lost his title to the Beast Incarnate. Also, it was only four months ago that Rollins took on Lesnar in almost exactly a similar situation at WrestleMania, so having them pit against each other again is becoming highly repetitive now.

But that is what happened on RAW. SmackDown, meanwhile, promises to be a good show itself as they have already made some pre-show announcements on the official website.

The Kabuki Warriors are set to face the IIconics for the Women’s Tag Team Titles on SmackDown Live. Ember Moon, meanwhile, is touted to lock horns alongside a mystery partner against Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.

The general theme against Shane McMahon now is that he is taking up too much TV time when some really good talents at the back could have been used instead. Kevin Owens has become the voice of the WWE Universe as he has constantly berated Shane O'Mac for him hogging the limelight.

On SmackDown Live after Extreme Rules, we could see a host of other Superstars join Kevin Owens and express their dissatisfaction at the self-proclaimed Best in the World.

And given that Shane O'Mac is a power-abusing heel right now, he might make those stars regret opening up against him and questioning his authority.

Or, Kevin Owens could galvanize the rest of the Superstars into revolting against McMahon, which ultimately leads to their SummerSlam Lumberjack match with a stipulation where the loser leaves WWE TV for good.
