5 Things that could come to pass with the Brand Split
It’s quite hard to get the WWE fans excited these days. However, just when WWE announced that they are going to bring back the brand split, the fans have been dreaming about the potential scenarios that could come with it. The prospect of seeing two sets of rosters and storylines competing to reign as the top brand is exciting indeed to begin with.
And considering that some of WWE’s best years came when there existed from competition outside or within the company, the brand split is bound to be successful. Ever since the announcement, there have been a string of rumors about the scenario and here is a look at them.
#1 Two Monthly pay-per-view events
One major question that arises with the brand split is regarding pay-per-view. As the whole roster was treated as one entity till now, the monthly pay-per-views had a big talent pool to choose from. But now that the brand split will be coming in, WWE needs to specify which pay-per-view belongs to which brand.
A rumor that surfaced about the same suggests that WWE will be holding two pay-per-views per month corresponding to the two brands that they will be having. With the WWE Network in place, this could be a good idea and at the same time, it allows to improve the competition within the brands as one will be looking to outclass the other in pay-per-view ratings, which by the way, is the actual purpose of the brand split.
