Believe it or not, the last time Brock Lesnar wrestled a match on WWE RAW was almost 17 years ago. On the night in 2002, Brock Lesnar faced and defeated ECW and Hardcore legend Tommy Dreamer. Since then, the closest 'The Beast' has come to wrestling on RAW was on the night after WrestleMania 31 where he was supposed to face then WWE Champion Seth Rollins who refused to take part in the match.
A lot of things have happened in both WWE and the world in general in the 17 years since Lensar's last match on RAW. We've seen technological leaps from the first iPhone and Android technology. Don't forget, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook weren't yet a thing when Brock Lesnar last wrestled on RAW either. One last thing, 4 new countries have been formed since then too.
We've taken a look at some of the things that have changed in the world, now let's turn our attention to some of the things that have changed in WWE since Brock Lesnar's last match on RAW.
#5 The rise of WWE NXT
One of the biggest changes that have happened since Brock Lesnar's last RAW match has been the rise of NXT. Back in 2002, WWE feeder developmental system consisted of the likes of OVW and FCW.
Since it's inception in its current form, NXT has transformed itself in one of the hottest brand in pro wrestling in itself. It gives Superstars a chance to showcase what they have before making the jump to the main roster as well as gaining experience in WWE's style and performing in front of cameras.
A huge chunk of the current roster has come through NXT and the future is bright for the black and yellow brand.
