Elimination Chamber is upon us! One of the most gruesome matches in WWE history, Elimination Chamber is known for its unique format and star-attractions.
The unforgiving structure is revered for several iconic moments over the years. Careers are made and careers are destroyed inside the hellacious structure!
Elimination Chamber matches are filled with six top-level athletes who are willing to risk their bodies to provide entertainment. The women superstars are also competing in the Elimination Chamber match for the second year in a row.
The card for the event is short and sweet with not many matchups, and it is a step in right direction by WWE. Several promising cards are wasted due to filler matchups which have no business being on a PPV.
WWE must continue this trend of smart booking decisions, and avoid these five decisions at the PPV.
#5 Charlotte and Becky Lynch interfere in the RAW Women's Championship match
Ruby Riott has been neglected badly in the buildup to her RAW Women's Championship match against Ronda Rousey. The spotlight has solely been on the Wrestlemania matchup between Charlotte and Ronda Rousey, and no attention has been given to building a real feud between Ruby and Ronda.
However, Ruby Riott is an excpetional performer and capable of giving Ronda a run for her money. Their build-up has been sorely disappointing, but the match should be entertaining.
However, WWE's fixation with building feuds on PPV could get in the way of an interesting encounter. WWE should avoid bringing Charlotte and Becky Lynch into the match, and let thier stories develop on weekly programming.
If WWE doesn't pay attention, the Charlotte-Ronda-Becky storyine could very well go on from being interesting to being downright annoying.
