5 things that shouldn't have happened on RAW - 14th May, 2018

WWE kick-started its UK tour with RAW airing from London. It was indeed surprising to learn that Roman Reigns will not be getting any more opportunities to qualify for the Money In The Bank Ladder match.

While Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins quite easily put on a performance that stole the show, it was disappointing to not see Jinder Mahal get his chance to qualify for the MITB Ladder Match.

This week's episode did well in showing Roman Reigns as this ruthless man who would go to any length just to get even or to show everyone that he has been messed with enough.

That being said, there were a few bookings or instances that felt out of place or could have been avoided. Here are 5 such bookings.

#5 Kurt Angle following the words of The Authority

On tonight's episode, Kurt Angle surprised us all by using the term "Best For Business" to justify a few decisions.

Angle was one who would not listen to Stephanie McMahon, in fact, a month back he teamed up with Ronda Rousey to take on the team of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Since then, there has been no mention or incident to show us the aftermath of the storyline.

This week's RAW saw Angle not use this term once but twice. The first time during the opening segment of the show when he gave Mahal a chance to qualify for the MITB Ladder Match and not giving Reigns another chance to qualify.

If you missed that reference because of the crowd's positive reaction to the announcement, Angle used the term again when he included Kevin Owens in the match to replace Mahal.

This action from Angle was quite surprising and really didn't continue with the storyline. A man who defied The Authority about a month back is suddenly seen using terms that The Authority uses to justify its actions. This being done without any build to it seemed very misfitting to the entire scenario.
