2019 has been a historic year for WWE and the entire pro-wrestling scene in general. Whether it was SmackDown moving to the FOX Network, Cain Velasquez making his WWE debut, or the introduction of the 24/7 Championship, there were many things fans simply didn't see coming.
At the same time, there were things that the WWE Universe were eagerly looking forward to like women main-eventing WrestleMania, Seth Rollins slaying 'The Beast,' a less PG approach to the overall product, etc. If you were one of the many blown away by 2019, hold on to your seats because the next year seems as promising as this one, if not more so.
With only two months before 2019 comes to an end, Vince McMahon and company may already be planning some major feuds for 2020. So without any further delay, let's take a look at five things that the WWE Universe is eagerly waiting for in 2020.
#5 The birth of WWE's Bullet Club
It wasn't so long ago when factions ruled WWE and were able to get things done in their own unique way. Whether it was D Generation-X, Evolution, or even The Shield, the company has a proven success record when it comes to factions.
Ever since the signing of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, the WWE Universe has been waiting for a full-fledged version of WWE's Bullet Club. For those that may not be familiar with The Bullet Club, the faction is considered one of the best in the modern era. Bullet Club was started by none other than Prince Devitt, whom the WWE Universe knows as Finn Balor.
While the company has teased the reformation of the group numerous times and given us small versions of it with AJ Styles and Balor teaming up with the Good Brothers on different occasions, the two former Bullet Club leaders are yet to join hands.
With Balor turning heel on the recently concluded episode of NXT, the chances of WWE finally pulling this off are higher than ever before. The prospect of these four causing havoc on the entire roster is fascinating, and we as fans can't wait to see this happen.
