WWE Live India 2017: 5 things to expect from the main event
Sports entertainment fans in India have reason to rejoice next week, as WWE arrives in New Delhi, for a Supershow!
While the card is stacked from top to bottom, the featured attraction of the evening is a marquee match between Jinder Mahal, a man who is proud of his Indian roots and Triple H, a legend who is stepping into a WWE ring in India, after a very long time.
This article is an attempt to get you all pumped up for the massive show as generations collide, as the hometown hero meets an iconic opponent, in an epic clash.
Here are five things you can expect when Triple H takes on Jinder Mahal in New Delhi, at WWE Live India.
#5 The grandest of homecomings
When Jinder Mahal became the WWE Champion, he celebrated his win in Punjabi style. Dancers were summoned, the colours of India were out for the world to see, and The Maharaja cut a promo, speaking to his people, in his language.
This whole show is being built around the homecoming of the "Modern Day Maharaja" to India, the land of his beloved people. Expect his arrival to be majestic, as he drops his heel persona, and adopts the persona of the local hero instead.
We wouldn't be surprised if there were festivities, pomp and splendour, to welcome Mahal to his homeland.
Expect there to be a promo in Punjabi, either before, during or after the match, based on how the event does play out. Mahal will finally address his people in their language, as the flock the stands to see him in action.
