5 things WWE got right on Raw this week (23 April 2018)
It is no secret that the go-home show before the Greatest Royal Rumble event was as basic as basic can get, with no significant reveal, no cliffhangers and no anticipation built for future WWE programming.
However, there is always a few bright spots that shine throughout the company's terrible booking, and on this week on Raw, WWE made correct decisions with regards to those specific narratives and superstars.
From building monsters to creating new prospects, WWE did leave the door open for future main eventers to be grown on Raw in the following months.
Therefore, even with the thin roster, they have to work with, it is those elements that can help Raw stay relevant throughout the next few months.
#1 The Sami and Kevin show
It is not the most original concept, it does not contain the best content in the world of wrestling, but the Sami and Kevin show might prove to be the single most entertaining act on Monday Night Raw over the next few months.
However, that can only be true if WWE keeps it innovative, fresh and most importantly the creative team must keep it relevant.
The only reason why this show can succeed is due to the excellent chemistry between Owens and Zayn, excellent heel work by Zayn especially and a plethora of topics Owens and Zayn can 'work shoot'.
WWE has gold on their hands with this idea, and they should not run it into the ground like every other idea they had in the past.
