We're in a new year, and whilst people may have given up on their New Year resolutions, one thing remains constant: WrestleMania is around the corner.

Now just 80 days away, this year's Mania is shaping up to be a huge show, with fans speculating about who will be in the main event, and what titles will be on the line.

The 35th show under the name, the Showcase of the Immortals has seen plenty of shocking moments, from Shawn Michaels going the distance in the first-ever Iron Man match, to Daniel Bryan finally getting his moment at WrestleMania 30.

But for all the highs WWE have delivered in the past, fans know they are capable of some baffling ideas just as much.

Here are five WrestleMania plans that the WWE must avoid for this year's Granddaddy of Them All.

#5 Too many matches

WrestleMania 34 had a total 14 matches and lasted over 5 hours long.

I love wrestling, and I presume so do you, since you've clicked on this feature (thanks for that by the way).

But at WrestleMania 34, a total 14 matches took place, which despite being a huge fan of WWE, is too much even for me.

Last year's show lasted a whopping 5hours and 11minutes, and when you factor in watching the pre-show as well, that number jumps to the show lasting over seven hours long.

It's simply too much. I understand that WrestleMania is the biggest show of the year, and they want to have as much happen as possible, but a seven-hour show cannot be sustained by even the most dedicated of fans.

The WWE needs to learn from the exhausted fans who watched this year's Royal Rumble, and recognise that yes, there can be too much of a good thing.
