#5 Push him as a Single’s Superstar
During his time away from the company, Matt Hardy revealed that he would like to have a Single’s run on the roster. And now is the best time to use him in the said division.
Matt is amazing as one-half of the Hardy Boyz, but he can be equally good during his solo run. He is a creative performer and knows how to keep the crowd entertained, even if he has to do it all by himself.
Since the injury is going to keep Jeff out of the equation for a while, WWE must book Matt in Singles matches regularly. This will allow both him and the fans to acknowledge his veteran status with the company. Moreover, it will allow the promotion to explore unique angles and matchups that could end up benefitting someone else on the roster.
WWE must avoid forcing another partnership on him. He is an excellent story-teller inside the ring. It would be nice to see him shine inside the squared circle without having to share the spotlight for once.
