Over the years, McMahon has worked with thousands of stars, many of whom have become close personal friends with the boss. In the 1980s, McMahon and Hulk Hogan forged a wrestling empire together
In the 1990s, McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin helped bring the company to (in many fans' view) the greatest it had ever been: the Attitude Era.
Today, McMahon has worked with stars like John Cena, Roman Reigns, and Randy Orton to bring the company to its most profitable ever state. But for such a savvy businessman, there are plenty of strange and bizarre things he cannot stand, with many for no good reason.
Here are five things Vince McMahon dislikes, and why he loathes them.
#5 Belts
The WWE has had plenty of titles over the company's decades.
From the WWE Championship, which debuted in 1963 with Buddy Rogers, to the Intercontinental Championship which appeared with Pat Patterson, to modern titles such as the Universal Championship, which debuted just two years ago, there have been dozens of titles in the WWE.
But that's the thing: according to McMahon, these are titles, not belts, and should be referred to as such.
The commentators therefore have to make a special effort to refer to a reign as a championship, or a title, but never as a simple belt that can be worn by anyone.
As McMahon once said:
"You can buy a belt at Wall-Mart pal"
