5 Things WWE subtly told us at Extreme Rules 2019 (July 14th)
WWE Extreme Rules 2019 is in the books and what an absolutely incredible show it was. It was solid from start to finish and the good card that it was didn't disappoint. You could argue that the show went too long (and it did), but as a whole, there was little left to be desired.

Moreover, what WWE did a good job with was wrapping up some of the feuds. While it's not going to be an entirely fresh start under Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff, they do have some very good material to work with heading into the second biggest show of the year.
Either way, Extreme Rules was a pivotal stepping stone towards SummerSlam and we fully expect WWE to have another great PPV next month, making it a rare three in a row for WWE. Here is what they subtly told us at WWE Extreme Rules 2019.

#5. AJ Styles vs Ricochet is far from over
AJ Styles may have defeated Ricochet for the United States Championship, but The One and Only superstar will definitely be vying for it again. The obvious direction is them facing off at SummerSlam and it could be a vital marquee match.
In fact, we wouldn't even be surprised if the two of them held back when wrestling these past three matches, knowing that they should save the best one of the biggest stage possible. At this juncture, that stage is SummerSlam and we fully expect Styles vs. Ricochet 4 to happen.
Whether or not Ricochet does beat Styles at the hottest party of the summer is yet to be seen. Either way, they can't go wrong with it. Fans are going to be happy if either of the two are champions.
