The Clash of Champions PPV was held last Sunday at TD Garden, Boston, Massachusetts. Notably, it was the last PPV of the year for WWE. The following are a few points from the last two matches on the show, which an avid WWE fan won’t want to miss.

In the second last match of the night, Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura faced Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to ensure the latter two gets fired from all of the WWE. Both Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan were referees in this high-stakes match.

In the fifth minute of this match, Randy Orton punched Kevin Owens on his face and covered him for a pinfall. However, the punch actually didn’t touch Kevin Owens at all.

Owens maintained the kayfabe and took a fall in order to cover up this botch.
