5 things you should know about Summer Rae
Summer Rae hasn't been seen on WWE TV now for more than a year, as the former Total Divas was last seen by the WWE Universe back at WrestleMania 32 when she was part of the 10-Diva tag match on the preshow.
Summer came through the ranks in WWE though NXT before she was called up to the main roster to partner Fandango. She later branched out into singles wrestling when she was added to the cast of Total Divas, but she was pushed onto the sidelines through injury and hasn't been part of WWE's plans for almost two years.
Summer recently hinted that she could be set to return to the company in the near future and if her Instagram page is anything to go by, then she definitely looks as though she is ready.
#5 Summer is a movie star
Despite never being used to her full potential in WWE, Summer was able to become the first ever female wrestler to be cast in a WWE Studios film back in 2015. Summer was added to the cast of direct-to-DVD movie The Marine 4: Moving Target which also stars The Miz.
Summer doesn't say a word throughout the movie but does play a huge part in the action sequences until she is killed off, she proves that acting could be an option for her moving forward if a return to WWE was off the table.
Summer hasn't been part of any other movie projects since then, but it is likely that there will be more plans for her to extend her acting resume in the future.
