Cena is going to complete eighteen years in the WWE and throughout his tenure, he has faced several hindrances which he has fought and conquered like a hero. Through his actions, he has encouraged the people in believing to 'never give up'. Here are five such big obstacles in his career that he confronted and walked out as a true legend.
5. John Cena vs the Wyatts
It all started in the 2014 Royal Rumble PPV when Bray Wyatt along with Eric Rowan and Luke Harper cost Cena a title shot against Randy Orton. The Wyatt's continued to interfere in Cena's match and also caused Cena's elimination at the elimination chamber PPV. This caused the rivalry to intensify and thus Cena faced Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 30. Though there were several distractions and interferences from the Wyatts both before and during the match, John Cena emerged victorious in the match.
The Wyatts continued to attack Cena and faced him in a steel cage match at the Extreme Rules PPV. The group's motto was to capture John Cena's fan-base and prove that John Cena isn't a real hero. This caused Cena and Wyatt to face-off at the Payback PPV one final time where Cena and Bray Wyatt competed in a last man standing match. Cena conquered the trio and thus won the match and ended the rivalry.
