5 Times WWE legends teamed up to win the Tag-Team Championships
Some say that tag-team wrestling is a lost art, at least in the WWE. Over the years, we've seen specialists like The Hardys, Edge and Christian and the Dudleyz revolutionize it. However, there have also been brief times when two top WWE Superstars formed a brief tag-team to go on and win the WWE Tag-Team Championships.
Some of these title reigns were so short that a large section of WWE fans have forgotten about some of them.

#5. Ric Flair and Roddy Piper
Heading into Cyber Sunday 2006, the Spirit Squad were feuding with WWE legends Ric Flair and 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper. At Cyber Sunday, the WWE Tag-Team Champions Mikey and Kenny of the Spirit Squad defended the titles against Flair and Piper.
The legends beat their younger opponents to capture the WWE Tag-Team Championships. This was incidentally Roddy Piper's last ever title in the WWE.
#4. Stone Cold and Shawn Michaels
Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels briefly joined forces in 1997 to take on the Hart Foundation. In the main-event of the May 26th, 1997 episode of RAW, Austin and Michaels beat the British Bulldog and Owen Hart for the WWE Tag-Team Championships.
The duo didn't end up holding the titles for too long. They had to vacate the titles shortly after that when Shawn Michaels was suspended for a backstage fight with Bret Hart back that June.
After Michaels and Austin were forced to vacate the titles, Austin teamed up with Dude Love to face the new Owen Hart and the Bulldog for the vacant titles. Austin and Dude Love ended up winning the titles.
